So last night was the Golden Globe awards. It is not quite on the level of the Oscars but it still gives you a reasonably good idea on who will take the Oscars. I’m not surprised The Social Network took the title of Motion Picture of the year. Do yourself a favour and compare the list of winners with my previous post about best and worst movies of 2010.

So the Social Network took 4 Golden Globes. I have to congratulate Christian Bale for winning in his category, even though I haven’t seen the film. Christian Bale is awesome, any guy who plays Batman is awesome…except George Clooney.

I’m a bit disappointed that Michael C Hall didn’t win for best Actor. But I’m glad Jim Parson from The Bing Bang Theory won! I know Boardwalk Empire started showing recently in South Africa, maybe it is worth taking a look.
